Why should I hire FreeSpace Organizing?
For starters, I make your life a whole lot easier and create space for you to pursue what you love. Every professional organizer decides what they want to focus on or specialize in. I specialize in downsizing & simplifying, with an interest in home staging. That’s right, I like to purge AND make it look nice!
Do I need to clean up before you arrive?
No. In fact, it’s a great idea if you leave your home as is, so I can get an accurate feel for your organizing needs.
Do you sell items for your clients online or at auctions?
No, I don’t currently offer this service.
How long will the organizing session take?
This depends on a lot of variables, including how large the space is, how much is stored within the space, how much of it is sentimental/personal, or how much paperwork we’re dealing with. An average sized room with average clutter often takes around 3 hours.
Do you do the shopping for products, or can I?
I can do the shopping, at the regular hourly rate, or you are welcome to purchase the products recommended by me.
How do you dispose of the items I don’t want to keep?
Any usable items I donate to the local thrift store which helps low income families in our communities. All paper, cardboard, etc. is recycled.
What locations do you serve?
I currently serve Red Deer, Calgary, and most areas in between.
Will my session be confidential?
Absolutely. I am a member of Professional Organizers in Canada and stand by their code of ethics. I never use photos unless I have written permission from my clients.
What areas of my house can you organize?
I will organize pretty much any area of your home, but I’d have to say my all-time favourites are kitchens, pantries, and laundry rooms.
How do I prepare for an organizing session?
Get enough sleep. Take some time to focus on your goals and dreams. Sip your favourite beverage. Relax.
What forms of payment do you take?
I currently take all major credit cards, Interac e-transfer, or cash.
